Afaik SLC voted for the new finance model and against the new governance structure. Who would have thought BCCI would have been outvoted like this. ICC finally growing a pair great to see. They have a lot of cleaning up to do after decades of inaction and neglect.

Also apparently India is threatening to pull out of ICC tourneys now. Have missed the deadline for naming their CT squad as well.

All drama queens.

Many indians houses ll be on fire if they withdraw.

It's a bluff they'll never go through with. IPL may be the cash cow but it needs international cricket to survive.

There is a big chance India could withdraw. It's all economics whether we like it or not. 293m is peanuts when India could be making half a bil or more.

I mean what is the ICC going to do if India pull out ? The sponsors are likely to follow and then everyone will just be holding their dicks standing around..

Don't get me wrong. I hated all the big 3 nonsense but I would not put it past India to do something radical and demand even more than the 570m they wanted if ICC want them back into the fold.

It needs international cricketers.. IPL could care less about International cricket calendar it self?

No issues anymore because the new constitution voted through has removed the proposal to reclassify some full members.. well it was passed on the basis that it will be removed by the time the June meeting happens.

8-2. SL voted against with India.

IPL can only provide so much. Sooner or later ppl will get bored of it. India needs international cricket just as much as the rest needs India. BCCI are well and truly backed into a corner now. Their only viable option is to take the $400 mil offer that's on the table. The initial $300 mil offer was unfair for mine but $400 mil I think is a fair deal for all involved.

So with the $400 mil offer BCCI's share would come down by $50-60 mil.
