Should be higher because UK has Indians migrating there for nearly 100 years or more. Sunak's government is returning some stuff to India from 1800's that British looted from India. Not only Indians, Sudanese and people from other African countries are also on the increase. I don't think Harsha Joshi knows what he is talking about Australia doesn't follow the immigration policy of the US or any other country I know of. US favors family-based immigration while Australia has always favored skilled immigration. Do your homework before talking about a subject. Even attracting the Indians, what is next? Australian Immigration Lottery? Obviously, you know nothing about the US immigration policies. What is US based visa types for - H-1B, EB2 and EB3 ? I used the word "favor" because that is the preferred category. That does not mean both US and Australia doesn't have other categories. Australia's population is almost the same as of SL, that's low for such a big country, a continent at that. So, migration is a necessary requirement. China is the opposite, they have the largest population in the world, at least had, till India took over very recently. China doesn't need immigrants, they have enough of their own. You are like a wife, no matter what, she defends her mother US has the 3rd largest population in the world, behind India and China, yet they still allow migration. Of course, if Trump comes back to power, he will only allow Europeans to migrate, but that is a different story RE: SLCF Chat Thread - pj57 - 10-03-2023 (10-03-2023, 09:22 PM)BELSWILF Wrote:(10-03-2023, 12:10 AM)pj57 Wrote: I used the word "favor" because that is the preferred category. India and China have 1.4 billion each but US has only 340 million. Nothing to defend, these are facts you don't want to accept.
