I felt the same when watching first season, I even complained to bada saying this is all about chasing the murderer at the middle of season 1, but things change a lot in Season 2 and 3.
I actually enjoyed it more than recent Sherlock episodes, Sherlock is becoming a bit of a farce with overly complicated story lines and having to wait ages to see few episodes.

Just finished Jessica Jones Season 1. They released the whole thing on netflix last November.
Awesome series. I'd say it's on par with Daredevil. Very deep character development. Camera work was stellar.

Started watching Orange is the new black, wasn't really in to the story but kept watching it for the tits, Story kinda get boring half way down the first season , I think i'm going to quit it.
