RE: TV Series Thread - Charu26 - 02-28-2017 Cheers all.. Actually looks like ive only missed season 5, that berlin nonsense, gave up after an episode.. Let me try season 6 now and see RE: TV Series Thread - mugatiya - 03-20-2017 I don't really know where to post this but I think I ended up convincing a couple of people to listen to Serial when I listened to it a couple of years ago. Well good news fellas. March 28th S-Town hits a podcast app near you Cannot wait !! S-town a spin off nonfiction podcast to Serial. Oh ya - Listen to Serial (season 1) https://serialpodcast.org/season-one S-Town is another true crime series created by Serial’s production team. Serial host Sarah Koenig bookends the teaser by explaining it’ll be a seven-part series, launching all at once on March 28, 2017. The show’s hosted by This American Life producer Brian Reed, who’s worked on the story for three years. Synopsis "John despises his Alabama town and decides to do something about it. He asks a reporter to investigate the son of a wealthy family who’s allegedly been bragging that he got away with murder. But then someone else ends up dead, sparking a nasty feud, a hunt for hidden treasure, and an unearthing of the mysteries of one man’s life.”" A preview here of S - Town http://www.huffingtonpost.com.au/2017/03/14/the-serial-team-release-first-listen-of-new-podcast-s-town/ RE: TV Series Thread - nuffa - 03-27-2017 Sounds interesting. Subscribed. But didn't Serial continue after the season 1? Didn't really like the new season and didn't continue. RE: TV Series Thread - The One - 03-27-2017 Yea Serial S2 was boring, didn't listen. Anyway anybody know what happened to Adnan, did'nt he get a trial? RE: TV Series Thread - mugatiya - 03-27-2017 (03-27-2017, 03:24 PM)nuffa Wrote: Sounds interesting. Subscribed. Yea s2 story was not as interesting I didn't mind it . I think they wanted to do something very different to season 1 Adnan hasn't got a new trial yet but his conviction was vacated So the state now has to decide if they want to appeal this decision or go for a new trial They would be pretty stupid to go for a new trial so it will drag on RE: TV Series Thread - mugatiya - 03-27-2017 You guys think he's 100% innocent ? I'm gonna use spoiler tags just in case someone wants to listen to it with an unbiased perspective. RE: TV Series Thread - mugatiya - 03-27-2017 If you are still interested here is Colin Miller's blog. He's an evidence professor. He still writes on the case alot. http://lawprofessors.typepad.com/evidenceprof/ And Susans blog - View from ll2. https://viewfromll2.com/ Both still actively write on the case and the new ones they follow. Colin's Jay testimony dissections are the best. FMD Jay's a total fkwit. RE: TV Series Thread - The One - 03-27-2017 |
