Ok as I understand there are 3 main timelines now. All connected through the most important person this season - Bernard

Timeline 1 - current events timeline
Where Dolores and raging her war after killing Ford.
Where Maeve goes to shogun world  (the samurai world) and eventually meets her daughter.
And MIB and his daughter meeting up
Where Dolores turns teddy into a killer

In this timeline, Bernard finds himself trapped in the barn after Ford is killed at the party and then becomes a prisoner to Dolores. Then ends up in the cave where he meets Elisie again. He then visits the WW building and ends up in the Cradle where he hookes into the virtual world where he meets Ford again.

I think this is clearly 1 timeline

Timeline 2 - Where Bernard wakes up on the beach and is joined by the QA team (with Floki from Vikings). They they discover all the hosts dead and floating in a sea. And Bernard says he thinks he killed them

They then later go to the WW lab area and Bernard sees those weird half done Host types who are doing experiments. This is where the big plot point of the season is revealed.

Basically what I understand to be happening is that when Humans come to the part..all their activity in the park is recorded. Think of it like FB logging our data but this is logging or copying the humans data.

Which is the ultimate goal of Delos - to record you as a digital copy and sell you a sort of immortality so that you can live in a Host body but with your mind

Timeline 3 - stuff before the parks are open. How the parks were funded by William and Delos. And how Delos looks to be the first one to try and become immortal. This is the scene where young William keeps coming to visit Delos in that room with a bottle of Whisky. In that instance Delos is dead. He's mind is copied into a host body. So they do this test called a Fidelity test (basically a turing test) to see if he can pass it. But he keeps failing it. And seems to be stuck there.

We also find out that Bernard was created with Ford and Dolores's help.
If you recall Arnold (who Bernard is based on) is the one who spent most of his time with Dolores to try and make her sentient.
And when Arnold dies, Ford recreates Arnold as Bernard using his memory and Dolores memory. So she ends up running Fidelity tests on Bernard to see if Bernard can fool Dolores to thinking it's the real Arnold. It's all fkn wonderful writing. And so well put together.

Anyway..so this place where humans can go and live forever is basically this "Valley beyond" that everyone refers to. It' I think is the virtual world where you can upload yourself into and live forever running your loop.

Dolores knows this because young William who falls in love with Dolores shows her the place. So this is where she's heading. I think her plan is to swith out of host bodies and into human. So this is why this whole season they've been showing the robot "brain" being removed etc.. I think they will swap out into human bodies and either leave the park or something like that..

This is why the tech team that finds the floating hosts find that some of their brains just seem totally empty I think.

I don't quite know what Dolores's end game is but everyone is converging to the Valley beyond

In the meantime Ford meets Bernard in the virtual world and tells him that he needs to remove the hosts free will temporarily. So he's kind of taken over Bernard now.

We need to know what Bernard does next cuz I think he causes this sea to happen..which was not there before. Mind melting stuff.

First, I think you've got one point mixed up in Timelines 1 & 2. Remember, when Bernard goes to that lab with Elsie, he remembers his encounters with those weird half-done white human hosts sort of in a flash-back manner. Which means, that encounter does't happen in your Timeline2 after he killed everyone, rather some point in time before your Timeline 1 here. And it was during that pre-Timeline1 where he grabs that small sphere like object which contains Ford's consciousness I guess?

Second, after yesterdays Ep9, I'm pretty sure how the hosts were killed. Either Clementine used the code or Bernard downloaded the code to himself and killed the hosts. Still can't explain how the 'Valley Beyond' was flooded, or how Teddy ended up there (as shown in premier), so that will be revealed in next ep.

How amazing was the two (opposite directional) parallels between MIB and Teddy's stories. FMD that's some amazing storytelling; MIB is consumed with the fact that he could in fact be a host, and Teddy is terrified by the fact that he might turn into a human. Beautiful way out for Teddy to exploit the loophole that he can't kill Dolores and that he'll protect her 'till he dies', and that's his escape.
And MIB stands as a reflection of whole humanity in this world, the "spec of darkness" was within him all this time. Him killing his daughter is again a great plot point, finally he thought he had too much and just about to kill himself and then doubt strikes him again so he wants to make sure if it was him that was evil or if its the code in him, just in case he is a host and thus relieving himself of the responsibility. It's ****** brilliant.

LOL at brain scanners in hats though, come on make some effort.

I also love the parallell between MIB and Dolores. Both have now lost everyone they had and was close to them due to their own actions.

The Vanishing point refers to a convergence of all points. And damn this ep was a brilliant encapsulation of that idea.

Also loved the Ford - Maeve - father-daughter relationship vs MIB-Daughter relationship contrast. Ford would do anything to save his "Child", MIB would go as far as killing his child.

I am guessing the Valley gets flooded to due whatever power Ford gives Maeve in this ep.

With Ep 8 as well, looks like Maeve is being set up as the peacemaker between Dolores and Ghost Nation (the Indians) and she is set to have a faceoff with Clementine. God mode may have been activate
