Just finished watching this and it's absolutely brilliant.

Muga I think you'd particularly like it.

It's a VERY slow burner, so be ready to invest some time, but it's completely worth it. It's the same H.G. Wells story but given a new spin (I don't want to spoil it, but it's a lot more personal than any adaptation before), and I absolutely love it. And for a change it's taking place in France and UK although mostly in English. I really love how they actually take a deep look at the implications of a alien attack rather than showing just fireworks.

Can't wait for next season, sucks we won't see one soonish because of COVID.

Yes I got to know about this because I am currently fangirling on Daisy Edgar-Jones (from Normal People) and she's in this too. Who as you know by now is my new celebrity girlfriend
