Are you hallucinating? Chile was the only decent side they beat leading up to the world cup, Got hammered by the US in June or July.
They've never beaten sides of the quality of Beligum, Spain, Portugal in the recent past.

Morocco were supposed to have a good game against Canada. That's about it. They didn't go far even in the African cup. This coach is highly regarded according to what the commentators said.
I miss Iceland and their celebrations. Was a great achievement to qualify the last time. It was fun when they beat you know who in Euro

Yea the coach has made a huge difference. Brought in like a few months before the WC and he's made a huge impact. Got players back who were left out by previous coach. Allowed family including parents to comes to Qatar and basically set them up in a very good way to attack.
And the energy of these guys is unreal. Not to mention how hard they are fighting with all the injuries they've had to deal with.

So far so good for Argentina . Can’t believe the French took Giuroud off in the 40th min . He apparently has a bit of a knee injury but he has been very good this World Cup .
