Any "talented" youngster in the school circle? There were plenty of hyped school cricketers several years back or even early as late 2000s. Now there isn't much hype revolving around school cricketers. Is anyone worth following?
Ahan Wickramasinghe was good even last season and was a member of the SL U19 side where he played a few important innings. He has continued the same form this season as well. He scored an unbeaten 92 in a limited over match after getting that double hundred.

He looks very impressive. Good height too. Usually, when I see some school "talent", it's always a video of a guy smashing some malnourished-looking offspinners throughout the video. This is a little different to watch. I say he is worth following.
Another quick question, what happened to the hyping of school cricketers? It seems like that culture seems to have vanished in SL. I remember watching videos of Bhanuka, Vithanage and even KJP in school days. There were articles and some hype around them.
When I was playing Junior Cricket at SSC this kid would come and play with his plastic bat and ball. He was really small then. His brother Jehan Daniel played with us.
Jehan Daniel was a good player back then, 2 years younger than me. He was playing in Joes U13A team no 4 bat and he was only in Grade 6. Generally U13 A division is filled with Grade 7/8 players.
Years later I was talking to one of my friends who played for SSC, he said Jehan's brother is playing cricket and looks more promising than Jehan.
