Also oldies are always way too over rated in these lists. With top modern-day bats they have been there and done that. The game has reached it’s saturation point already. Whereas with Hobbs and co you are only making a whole heap of assumptions. So to rate oldies with not too dissimilar numbers above proven and tested top modern-day bats for the sake of it is a joke really. Only exception would have to be Bradman since his numbers in Tests and FC are just too freakishly extraordinary to ignore. Plus he also proved himself during body-line and scored at a fair click as well unlike Hobbs and co who were not really tested and were known to have padded up their numbers by taking full advantage of the very lenient LBW laws back in the day.
