But he has coaching experience with SA since he retired from international cricket.

Compare that to NZ´s Herath who was one of the best bowlers in the world. If we're gonna hire foreign coaches, we should try to hire former players that are beyond the levels of Bell and Mckenzie etc.

A high level player doesn't necessarily make him a high level coach.
