This is what you get now...
Siraj to Karunaratne, out Karunaratne Run Out!! Sri Lanka finding innovative ways of losing wickets now! This was full and straight from Siraj, Karunaratne defends it solidly back to the bowler and holds his pose. He was in awe of how nicely he had defended that delivery that when Siraj picked up the ball and threw it back at the stumps, he was caught off guard. Karunaratne in shellshock to see that both his legs were out of the crease, he has to walk back.

I could be wrong but I guess we are one of the most inexperienced if not the most inexperienced ODI side among the top 7/8 teams. The playing XI in the last ODI against India had played around 310 matches. Kusal Mendis has played 93 ODIs, none of the others have played 50, next highest being Shanaka with 48.
We need at least one experienced batter in the middle order to keep the innings together.

Dinesh Chandimal

Angelo Mathews for me, average of 41 and SR of 83 against Chandimal's 31 and 74. Mathews has played some match winning innings including the famous partnership in Melbourne with Malinga.

Chandimal is the man for the job. With that average of 29.7 in the last 5 years, he would fit right in with this lot to maintain low standards consistently.

SL won't make any radical change unless something dramatic happens, remember SL beat England in 2018 WC and the selectors were like "We beat the WC champions" ? lol. No point in SL being the 2nd or worst or worst team in this WC. I rather sacrifice this WC.
With all these T20 WCs, I don't feel the WC vibe this time around. Also why WC during the rainy season ?
