I don't care what other teams do but I do care about our national team. Clichés like risks are part of life is good for individuals but not when it comes to a team sport.....preference for national team over a domestic tournament should be given priority.
sri lanka took risks back in 1996. England took risks after 2015. No point being pussy at this stage. Not like we gon win the wc anyway

I am talking about the risk of two of our best bowlers getting injured by playing in the IPL just before the WC, not about risks you take as a team while playing. It's nothing to do with being macho or being pussy, those are just empty words. Winning or not having a chance to win is beside the point, we have to play at our best with out our best players. I am not against them playing in the IPL, my concern it's too close to the WC and the risk of injury and fatigue is possible.

it is possible. But they could also gain new vital skills.

What is more important so close to the WC is the question you have to ask yourself.

Is there anyone good from Richmond?
At least there were 3,4 Richmonits in the recent U19 teams such as Wanidu, Charith, Dhananjaya, Kamindu. Current U19 coach Dhammika Sudharshana is the former Richmond coach.
Another point, no one from any rural school this time it seems

I guess Mahela is going to work with them during just the Asia Cup and WC.

When was Pallekele named after Murali? Thought that idea was ditched. There was a report about naming a stand there after him, but I didn't see anything during the SLC T20 tournament.
RE: Sri Lanka Cricket Discussion Thread - Bada - 08-26-2021
I remember Sammy also had an international ground named after him after leading WI to two T20 World titles.
RE: Sri Lanka Cricket Discussion Thread - pj57 - 08-26-2021
I don't think Pallekele has been officially named after Murali, haven't seen anything to that effect.
