Yeah, forget about the BR drama. Ditch that discussion.
This is about the 25-second drop. Is this a must? Have the other countries gone about it the same way? Do they usually lift standards and ask players to hit them within 15 days after a busy cricket season?

Knowing SLC crooks, they might actually be intentionally doing this. This is a serious fuckery.
BR is still a cry baby though.

Plus it's also just after the Christmas break etc..I mean we all know people let go a bit during this period and probably put on a bit. Sure professionals need to remain fit all the time but they've just come off a big season and deserved a bit of leeway and now they are welcomed to a totally new fitness test

Yea wtf right. Smith said his 7m is the average in the team, so there must be half the squad doing sub 7m lol. That's nuts
PJ we need to give you a new benchmark for your walking speed. 7m for 2km please. Record it so SW can see you do it.

SW will write a 14 page essay and explain to us that why he was right all along and you were on the wrong side.

I expect SW to give us a step by step breakdown of PJs walking style, his efficiency, ares where he can improve etc.

If these standards are really necessary, they could have taken the decision to do the fitness tests (with the new requirements) after March. Enough time to train for 2km and cut down more fat. Obviously nobody thinks about 2km and skinfold during a WC or T20 league. January test should have the usual 8:35. Having said that, I still expect most of these guys to hit 8:10 because it's linked to the salary now lol
