It’s a flawed championship but I’ll be damned if people go around  saying fans don’t care!

But yea, Regista is out regardless; basic requirements to be a mod are liking Test cricket and being an unquestionable BB fan.

Besides, I never said I don't like test cricket. We are all a little more involved than regular fans. Don't think the average cricket follower cares that much.

I mean guys are right about the WTC. It wasnt hyped at all relative to any of the world cups but with time, I think it`ll reach that interest especially as other teams start getting good at test cricket again.

We all know regular fans are just glory hunters. So I wouldn't worry too much about what they want. They can get off on LOI.

Followers of test cricket are not regular fans anymore in any case so the venn diagram of who like WTC will include most test fans I believe.

WTC final was the most watched Test match since 2018. It had a bigger following than ENG v IND, AUS v IND and ENG v AUS.

There's genuine interest in finding out which teams make it to the final in WTC, but it's true that some of the series don't get many eyeballs. Obviously the pandemic also had a negative effect this time with a few series being postponed.
