Meanwhile, with the announcing of the second edition of the LPL to be held later this year, Sri Lanka-born British entrepreneur, Allirajah Subaskaran, has been announced as the new owner of the Jaffna franchise.

The new owner of the Jaffna franchise expects to rope in some big international and local stars, with the LPL Player’s Draft scheduled for next month.

My assumption is that Subaskaran wanted to buy Jaffna(if he don't, he wasn't going to buy any other franchise in LPL as it would bring in backlash), so he was moving strings around the league and pressuring LPL/SLC to have the previous owners moved out.

One of my niece married his wife's brother He also makes big budget Tamil films(I think this is for tax purposes, don't think he cares about making money on these movies too much), he is a charitable guy, he was doing charitable work even when I was there. He did some charitable work that SL government and military might not have been too thrilled with but it was Ranil/Siresena back then. Sanath Jayasuriya tried make him his business partner lol. It was Sanath who invited him to SL. He also lost tons of money. His company was once estimated to be closed to $3 Billion USD, but now not even a Billion from what I heard.

I got 0 evidence to back my claim. Word of mouth. From what I know sometime around 2014 when Sanath was in UK(not sure why) he got to know about him, tried to meet him(or met with him) and invited him to SL. Sanath proposed some business ideas. That's all I know.

Not surprised, he started making big budget movies after the incident. What did the raid claim result though ? I know he throws money around and bleeds money. I went to one of his Grocery store in Mitcham called Food World.

LMAOO did you forget what happened to your boy Sana ? According to the law he is a corruptor of the game that gave him life. Didn't Sanga and Murali say Sanath love making connections and he very connected to everyone ? Subas is not a proven criminal, while Sanath is one.
