Murali shouldn't have to answer to these hypocrites who haven't done 1/10 of what he's done to help people in Sri Lanka (former conflict zone included) regardless of race and religion. These people aren't even relevant. I'd see the need to reply if SL Tamils had made a huge scene over this, but as a man who wears his heart on his sleeve, he's tried to clarify that he's not anti-Tamil. He's not a politician/policy maker. He has done what he can in his own capacity to help people. Even a portion of the proceeds from the movie is supposed to go to the foundation to help village empowerment centres, which is one of the reasons he agreed to do the movie in the first place.
I agree there's some truth to him making comments that can confuse people and paint the wrong picture, but he has only tried to defend himself in this case.
