India fighting back a bit, Aussies have lost 3 wickets for 26 since Head got out. Smith, last to get out for 121.

India must be ruing the decision to ask Aussies to bat first after winning the toss. The most they can hope for is a draw the way things are going at the moment. A draw will make them a joint winner.
There is variable bounce which will make batting difficult as the match progress and it could help Lyon as well. 06-08-2023, 10:12 PM
Aussies well on top getting 5 Indian wickets for 151 after being all out for 469 at the close of day 2. Still 318 runs behind, they run the risk of being asked to follow on. Realistically, the follow on might not be applied but a huge first innings lead for the Aussies on the cards.

Aus should definitely bat again and set India a target of more than 500. Follow on with the Indian batting line up could be risky

I think AUS will bat again anyway to give a break to the bowlers. They won't risk Cummins and Starc when they have a 5-match series coming up next week.

Ashes gonna be delicious. Feel like Aussies are getting an unfair advantage for the ashes thanks to scheduling
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
