Criccontent likes to bash everyone but the SLC board, and the poor domestic system

And how would the player development/talent finding systems look like? Should SL copy the approach of smaller countries like South Africa and New Zealand who manage to develop high level players consistently? 11-04-2023, 05:47 AM

Then club cricket would be similar to grade cricket. Schools feed clubs, then clubs feed provincial cricket. 11-04-2023, 05:49 AM
But I've been saying that for more than a decade

This guy seems to be quite knowledgeable for a non-cricket person. Usually you get a lot of silly people who think changing a few players or coaches can make SL a top team all of a sudden.

I don't think SL have been embarrassed like this before, and as you say old clips of Murali are resurfacing. So there might actually be some change. 2023 was supposed to be a good year for our cricket (similar to 1996 & 2014). Thought it might be the world cup, but maybe constitutional changes will be the highlight ![]() |
