Using a floater worked. Not always a cinch, but, worth trying. From a prior post of mine.

The thought that 3 will be a floating position is a good one and I think accurate. If there is a decent start and the openers make let's say 30 or 40 plus, are you going to hold up AF, BR or DS. These players can make a bigger intake. Also if there is a slow start, likely if KJP gets out early, there is the option of a floater, who could go all in the get the RR up. That maybe one of CK or Waniya. So whoever of Chandi, Charith or DDS, who snares the last batting spot could be left with a changing role. The only case for Chandi over the other 2, will be experience and he could take over wk role in case KJP has an injury issue while keeping wickets, plus open in that case. My personal preference is Asalanka. Let's see. But, its, good that for first time in a long time, that all of us agree with the selectors on the final 11. Cant remember that happening. However this is not my 15, suspect most of you disagree on that too. But, we have to select based on what we have
