England well in front but the first session of day 4 will be crucial. Wickets have fallen in the morning session on all three days, so these 61 runs won't be easy to get if that trend continues.

England seems to be doing this easy, 28 runs scored in 8 overs without any trouble on day 4 morning. NZ haven't been able to get the much needed breakthrough. 33 runs required to win and Root needs 12 runs to complete 10,000 test runs in his 118th test match.
