good that apo also saw inter before i posted this
hopefully it will leave to some good discussions. its a bit long - u know me. so here goes

I think to fully explain interstellar we need to consider 3 timeslines
But if you make it only 2, then it complicates things - which I like - and keeps the timeloop paradox. Which I also like cuz it fks with your brain.
Ok so after thinking things through and reading a lot of things online. My final fully formed understanding of the movie is this.
timeline 1
earth is hit by the blight. people consider leaving earth. they start a bunch of exploration missions.
wormhole appears near saturn.*
nasa kicks off lazarus missions/project to check out the wormhole. mann, edmunds, miller go to explore as the first round.
but more importantly cooper is also part of the project as the best pilot and he flies on final mission with amelia. he trains for the missions. they go on the mission , through the wormhole, everything plays out as we see in the movie.
amelia arrives at edmunds planet. cooper goes into the blackhole.
lets assume he dies. or something. no one quite knows what happens at singularity.
amelia populates edmunds planet with plan B. humans evolve into the 5th dimension with the black hole guiding their sciences and also making them evolve into different beings.
at some point in their future, they realise they can save humanity, and make plan A work.
timeline 2
(what we see in the movie)
they - humans from plan b in the future - send through a gravity burst across dimensions - through time namely - and knock down coopers training flight as he trains for the lazarus missions (this is where our movie starts)
ala the "mission you always trained for"
this then creates the important diversion of cooper not going in the first set of missions. he ends being a farmer. and has murphy.
they then do another gravitational anamoly - the wormhole - see wormhole appears in timeline 1.
everything plays out as it does in the movie, amelia goes to edmunds planet, plan b kicks off as it did before. cooper goes into the black hole
only this time, the future humans have put the tesseract in there for him fall into. There is no doubt that they are us from the future. TARS and Cooper realise this when they are in there.
Cooper realises that gravity is the one thing that trancends the dimensions. of course we have the whole love angle to make the watch into a plot device.
Cooper initially sends the msg STAY as soon as soon he falls into the teseeract. Cuz he thinks its stupid for him to leave earth because at this point he thinks the plan fails and he will not save Murph.
But then TARS comes on the comms and explains what is going on. Cooper has the epiphany. He knows he HAS to go on the mission to arrive in the tesseract to send the singularity data to solve the gravity equation
so he corrects the DIVERTED path by sending himself the nasa cordinates. so that he ends up BACK on the lazarus project.
so then he sends the data needed to solve the gravity equation to Murph. Murph solves it.
Now we wondered why the future humans wouldn't just send Nasa an email or whatever from the future on how to figure things out. But based on the movie logic, the only thing they can use from the future to cross the time dimension is GRAVITY.
And Cooper realises in the tesseract, they have access to infinite time as another dimension but they can't communicate directly with anyone in it. this is why the cooper - murph story is central to the story. once cooper was diverted from the original timeline, they realise murph will become the key to executing plan B.
and presto we have the tesseract filled with timeline of murphy's bedroom.
once everything sorts it self out, cooper is ejected from the teserract.
future humans have successfully implemented plan A without making any impact to plan B - thus ensuring that Plan B still works enabling them to make plan A work. as any changes to original plan B would mean that they would seize to exist.
there u have it.
Interstellar!
notes
now, the main issue with this is the wormhole. its the age old chicken and egg, how did the wormhole appear if its humans made it by going through the wormhole.
i put this down to the classic timeloop paradox in sci fi movies.
the alternate theory i have read about is the existence of 3rd timeline where humans themselves create the wormhole. this probably happens years after the
