Grounds in domestic cricket? I think we have more than enough when we add the international venues to the club grounds in SL.

I guess Sidath was talking about international venues or the ones with very good facilities. There are enough grounds in SL if they want to develop/work on pitches. So many in Colombo alone. These are the grounds I can think of. Most of these are used for club cricket.
Floodlit international RPS Pallekele Hambantota Dambulla Other international SSC P Sara Galle Club and other NCC Colts Bloomfield Mercantile CCC (hosted 3 Tests, but very small) Moratuwa (hosted a few international matches) Army Katunayake Police Kurunegala Uyanwatta Maggona Moors BRC 11-16-2023, 05:24 PM

The last Asia Cup matches too got affected by rain. Since we now have the Southern Expressway going very closer to the grounds at Sooriyawewa, we should hold more matches there. Also, Dambulla grounds too, and this was built specifically to hold matches during rainy seasons in Colombo and Kandy. Be there were built by UNPers, SLFPers, Pohotuers, JVPers, it does not matter. Leave that politics aside and play matches on these stadiums. We don't need any more grounds anywhere except may be one international stadium in Jaffna, because we need to spread the game more there. 11-16-2023, 06:39 PM

Most of the brown movies in Prime comes in Hindi, Tamil & Telugu. Don't see 800 skipping on Sinhala if the movie was made in 2 languages. 11-17-2023, 02:38 AM
