This tournament has been ruined by rain, most matches have been either washed off or have had overs reduced. Some clubs like Bloomfield and Moors have four out of five matches played end in a no result, some others up to 3 matches have ended in a no result.
I’m guessing this is going to affect the WI tour

Super effort by Army SC to reach the semis of domestic one-day tournament. Some big clubs have been knocked out. Army will meet Tamil Union in the first semi on the 28th at Surrey Village. Followed by Ragama vs NCC at Army Grounds on the 29th.

What do you mean? All three forces have been playing FC cricket for ages and the Army has always been competitive specially in limited over formats. They won a couple of tournaments in the last few years if I remember correct.

They have also recruited few national players like Chandimal and Thisara Perera to go with Asela Gunaratne and Seekkuge Prasanna who were already there.
Yea I’m also curious at to what Kalu meant .. will wait for his response before replying
Ok, always thought of Army as a weak team. So TP, Asela and seekers have taken them to current status? Chandi has been away. Considering the strengths of other teams this is remarkable? Even when Chandi joins them surely they are a weak team right???
