i have a simple answer, kapu made to bat all over the place while Chandimal and Thiri given a number to bat for long period, prove me wrong if you can

I was Kapu fan too. Remember? But these are lame
Excuses. Kapu couldn't put bat to straight balls, had no idea about reading variations. Poor technique, angled bat. Nothing to do with the position if you get out trynna defend straight ones. Improved a bit now. Hope he ll do well now, certainly got talent.
How do I see who is leading in most runs/wickets/highest score and etc ?

Never understood why he didn't tour South Africa, he can swing the ball a bit and bat decently. Our domestic structure is weak, we need to fast track talented players and give them more chances often and let international cricket grow on them.
Guys I have a question is it possible for someone who didn't play school cricket to break into FC and national side ? If Legs spinners are high in demand and if it it takes them several years to mature how can we develop good leggies ? School matches are too competitive for a leggie to commit mistakes, and learn from it. Schools will rather go with a stump to stump boring spinner like Pathirana and Rambukwella instead of a highly talented but underdeveloped Leggie. Is this why we have so many uninspiring finger spinners and not enough Leggies ? It is sad that only Vandersay and Hasaranga are the only recognizable leggies we have. Hasaranga doesn't even look like a quality attack leggie but rather a "mystery" like spinner who mixes well. Lets not even talk about vandersay's consistency. I'm tired of seeing non-turning SLA and Off break bowlers. These guys can't even turn on our pitches, can never rely on these guys in England or South Africa. Right now we only have Sandakan but he turns into most batsmen, we need a big spinning leggie. Is there anyone that is upcoming ?
^^^ while i agree with your point about school cricket coaches looking to win games with a left arm spinner or offie with a good arm ball rather than developing a leggie, there are lot more reasons other than that i think.

First, i do not think SL tracks do any special favours to leggies comparing to offies due to low and slow nature. Leg spinners are better off with some
Pace and bounce off the track. Also same apply to school cricket because we mainly play on matting in age groups as school cricketers. Skiddy surfaces only help skiddy leggies like seeku.

Also as i know, in general finger spinners takes more time to mature. Mehedi is a exception i guess. But most offies get to best around age of 28-30 they say. That is because they have to learn their art a little more comparing to wrist spinners, because fingers spinners doesn't have that x factor in general.

Unfortunately only half decent one we had since D S De Silva was Chandana. I have hopes on Vandersay still. Even Wanindu would hv to change his action to turn the ball enough for test cricket.
Another game tomorrow? Is it telecast too?

Wanna see Mendis and Bhanuka batting. Dambulla was the best batting side so far with Kandy.
I watched Wanidu bat.A bit loose outside off stump against pacies but plays spin decently. Not afraid to come down the track. He was batting with ShehanJ,lol
