sana has been been head selector for the last 4 years which have coincided with the malinda's seasons aged 25-29 (approx). these are usually considered to be the ages where a spinner comes into his prime.
if u are asking for names of the bigwigs, i don't know. i don't run in those circles like u do
Wrong, Kapila Wijegunawardana was chief selector in between Sanath's tenures. Some players don't make the next level though they are very good at domestic level. We have seen that with many players.
If you don't know...STFU

yeah we know that already.
There should be a bonus points system to reward clubs which uses more prescentage of overs with fast bowlers.

True, I remember clubs were adviced by the selectors to open with fast bowlers and also give them more overs during Sanath's previous tenure but it seems all that is forgotten now by both the selectors and clubs. I see many clubs opening with spinners......Sachithra Senanayake for SSC was another case.......or/and giving fewer overs to fast bowlers. I think the selectors should advice or even make it compulsory for clubs to open with fast bowlers and give them a minimum number of overs to be bowled in a match.
It would help if pitches were better prepared with some pace to actually encourage clubs to open with pacers
